Energy Symposium 2025

KIT Energy Center and Helmholtz Energy cordially invite you to the Energy Symposium ‘Powering the Future - Accelerating the Energy Transition’ from 24-27 June 2025 at KIT Campus North.

In the Science Year 2025 – „Energy of the Future” and on the occasion of KIT’s 200th anniversary, over 250 energy researchers and industry partners from Germany and abroad will meet for four days to spark new momentum for the energy transition.

Program highlights:

  • Keynotes & specialist lectures on hydrogen, Power-to-X, energy storage, fusion and energy-market design
  • Lab tours (superconductivity, hydrogen testing, 3P methanation, and more)
  • Workshops & Open Space sessions specifically for early-career researchers
  • Poster sessions & Science Slams
  • Networking events for direct exchange

Program

Locations

The Energy Symposium primarily takes place at KIT Campus Nord, especially at the Aula and the seminar rooms of  Fortbildungszentrums für Technik und Umwelt (FTU). For the campus and lab tours,  KIT Campus Süd and KIT Campus Ost will be visited as well.
